OnNovember 29, the Graduate School of International Relations of the Institute of Humanity Sciences (GSIR) and the representatives of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty of Kyrgyz National University in Bishkek (KNU) held an online working meeting to discuss project initiatives in terms of cooperation.
KNU was represented by the Dean of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty S.H. Apayeva, the Head of Center for Scientific Research One Belt – One Road R.U. Yusupov, the Deputy Deans S. Mashanlo, B. Ibraimova, U. Yeresheev, and the Head of the Chinese language and literature education program, A. Toksolayeva.
The Institute of Humanity Sciences was represented by the Director of the GSIR S.N. Pogodin, associate professors V. Juntao and A.V. Vovenda and senior lecturer D.E. Lyubina.
The participants discussed possible spheres of cooperation, including joint scientific and educational events on Eurasian regional studies and regional integration projects, such as Summer and Winter Schools, scientific publications, and student interactions.
As a result of the meeting, representatives from Kyrgyzstan expressed their interest in signing a framework agreement on cooperation.
