ArtPolyLab
Educational and project Art Laboratory ArtPolyLab was established in 2022 as a part of the strategic organizational project Technopolis Polytech of the Priority-2030 program implemented by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The Laboratory is supposed to be a creative space designed for maintaining cross-disciplinary interaction and joint creative activity of students, young scientists and experienced specialists from various departments and training programs.
Laboratory’s key tasks are:
- To integrate education in the humanities and digital technologies basing on interdisciplinary interaction of art, education and science;
- To build up an idea of modern art practices as well as of demanded creative professions and to expand the knowledge about the creative possibilities of education;
- To initiate transdisciplinary interaction in mastering of the art language of a new digital reality;
- To organize joint projects of the Laboratory with domestic, foreign and international organizations.
The Laboratory is equipped with a 3D printer as well as with modern facilities for 3D-modeling, graphic design and various neural network creativity. It also has tools for art-pedagogy and art-therapy.
